  We stayed in early February and the apartments were really cosy and warm. With the balcony, they are very well ventilated so it never got too hot on us. One of the best traits of Llagunes is how quiet it is. No noises to disturb you in the morning or the nights. If you want to get away from the hustle and bustle of the city, these are the apartments for you.

  Sort is the lovely town nearby with great food at great value. Tried escargot and while it wasn't for me - the rest of our group really enjoyed it. Try the meats and cheeses in this area. They are really incredible and best of all - authentic There is also a great bar scene in Sort with friendly locals and delicious, cheap beer.

  These are well equipped apartments with a real country feel. There is a full kitchen with oven, dishwasher, kettle, toaster. You can make a real good meal for a big group and have lots of space at the kitchen table. There were two bathrooms in our apartment with showers and plenty of high-pressure, hot water. Everything was spotless when we arrived and you can tell the owners really look after the place.

  The bedrooms are very cosy - plenty of room for storage of clothes (and soggy ski gear!). The beds are comfortable with handy charging ports and lights. We were staying with work friends and had enough space to not be stepping on each other's toes. Towels and extra blankets are provided but we had no need for them in these cosy rooms. I had a great nights sleep here during our stay.

  We were Snowboarding in the nearby slopes of Port Ainé - we had the slopes to ourselves on the Friday (early Feb) and the conditions were perfect. The national park looks like a lovely area for a hike.
